Welcome to Spinning Ginny's Handspun Yarn and Other Gifts! 

I hope that you like what you see when your browsing through my shop, as much as I enjoyed spinning, carding and knitting these yarns, batts and handmade items. I just love spinning wool into yarn, its one of my favorite past times, besides weaving, and knitting. I feel very lucky to able to spend my days doing what I love. 

All the batts you find in my store originate from several different roving that I buy from different shops and blend together on my Ashford Drum Carder to become my own batts and yarn. I also buy rovings that are just too pretty and need to be spun up as they are.

I just love being part of the process -- from the sheep, goats, alpaca, llamas and camels grazing in the pasture, the farmers shearing them, the mills processing the fiber, the dyer dyeing the wool, the spinner spinning the wool into the yarn, and the knitter, crocheter and weaver making one-of-a-kind items, to the person wearing one of these wonderful handmade items.  Its a wonderful feeling to be a part of all this.
